The Fresh Food Public Foundation was incorporated on March 21, 2012.The foundation conducts all of its activities at the Jefferson County Truck Growers Association at 344 Finley Avenue West, Birmingham, AL 35204.

The purpose of the Fresh Food Public Foundation is as follows:

1) Introduce fresh produce and their fresh foods to people who do not have access to such foods
2) To educate the public concerning the benefits of eating fresh produce and other fresh foods
3) To educate the public on how to prepare and cook fresh produce and other fresh foods
4) Improve the quality and availability of fresh produce and other fresh foods in the State of Alabama

Activities that the foundation anticipates engaging in the near future are:
-Growing Workshops
-Cooking Classes
-Nutrition Programs and Information
-Children's Programs
-Fresh Foods Educational Programs
