At Ole’ House Farms we grow several varieties of potatoes, corn, squash, cucumbers, watermelon, green beans and variety of peas . We sell to local farmer market, a local grocery store as well as right out of our barn. 
We are a small operation and fortunately we have great friends that help us and in turn get fresh vegetables to share with their families. Tim grew potatoes for Frito Lay many years ago before he took a different career path. But he just couldn’t get the dirt out of his nails! He absolutely loves planting a seed and watch it grow. At Ole’ House Farms we pride ourselves in providing good quality vegetables to our locals. Another thing we are proud of is our relationship with Prodisee Pantry and Feeding the Gulf Coast. Social media has been a good avenue for us. Our customers contact us to see what we have and we are always available, to make arrangements for pick up. Brenda’s favorite part of the operation is customer service! She is always working to grow those relastionships whcih have led to long term relationships when it comes to our produce. Word of mouth has worked for us along with social media. As most farmers we dont have set hours so its important for Brenda to take messages and notes during the day so she can get back with people and make arrangements for pick.

Another thing we enjoy doing is encouraging people to learn to preserve food. We think this is an important part role Ole' House Farms can play in  and hopefully reduce "food insecurity". There is no reason anyone should be hungry. Our local food pantries do an excellent job with their programs and we love being a part of that as well. We ask to buy local and encouage others to do the same. Theres nothing better than taking out that corn or those peas out of season and setting them on your table! 

Oh, and let us add, we do not limit ourselves to just the produce mentioned above...if we can get the seed, grow it and have the space for it Tim will plant it!
