Hello, our names are Dylan and Kali Gilbert and we are the owners and operators of our farm, Blue Ridge Cattle Co. We are a small, veteran owned first generation farm located in Cullman, AL. We offer bulk Freezer Beef and bulk Pork for purchase. Periodically, we offer beef for purchase in smaller box quantities. Check out our website for the most up to date offerings!

We are starting out on this journey after our time in the military has ended but hope to grow to become a respected business in the community providing you with quality beef, pork and livestock. Dylan graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Animal Science, Livestock Production and Management with a minor in Grazing Livestock Systems. While in the Midwest, Dylan gained experience in feedlot settings, giving him valuable insight into what it takes to produce quality livestock resulting in a quality protein product for consumers. At Blue Ridge Cattle Company, we focus on the science behind the efficient growth of livestock by selecting feeding programs that fit the needs of livestock and customers. By doing so, we can ensure that the livestock produce a quality product for the consumer when finished and processed. We believe that quality protein is an essential part of family gatherings, important life events and more - and we want Blue Ridge Cattle Company to be a part of those special moments.

Our time in the military gave us many experiences that helped push us toward our lives in agriculture. Not only for the aspect of "being our own boss" but the new-found appreciation for our country, its people and the land. We are passionate about providing for and serving those around us, even outside our military service. Farming is our way to continue to give back to our community in a positive and impactful way. That is also why education, outreach, and advocacy are incredibly important things in the work we strive to do.
